A team led by Indian astronomers recently found that the star cluster 'UBC 63' is actually what?
(Reference: PIB)
UBC 63, a Galactic open cluster about 4892 light years from Earth, was earlier thought to be a single cluster. The new study found it is made of two distinct clusters, UBC 63A and UBC 63B, that recently passed very close to each other (a close flyby). The team included a DST INSPIRE fellow and researchers from Gauhati University and the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA). (Reference: PIB)
